I am just reminding everyone who requested a copy via email. -
the cut off date is in less than a week.
I am still waiting for over 100 entries requested via email to be returned.
Either I will have very large deliveries of mail on Monday......or many have forgotten again!!!
Could i please ask those who are intending to enter, and send in payment,
not to forget, I hope you dont mind a gentle reminder...
Thanks

Hi,quizmouse,I got my copy via snail mail -found it fairly difficult so haven't managed to finish it.I wish I could have asked for clues but respected your wishes. Hope your gentle reminder does the trick.I return quizzes only if I've finished them.
Yes quinie also found this hard sogave up as was unable to ask for help.
Mine is on it's way to you, with a few dodgy ones again. I'll beat you one of these days. ;-)
You'll get mine, though I haven't managed to complete again. Am away for a couple of days but it'll be in the post Tuesday.
Mine will be in the post tomorrow too, still finding answers today, so it looks like you're in for a busy Monday!
Are you all allowed to ask for hints or pointers yet?
as I have to sign off very soon............
The wishes of the setter are stated at all times so why send for it by email if you are then not going to pay. That is going to spoil it for those who want to save money by getting it this way. Surely even if you didnt finish it you got enough enjoyment out of it to send in the £1
Why don't you charge for the quiz, smouse? Or half for quiz and half on entry?
Perhaps consider setting up a paypal account so people caan pay before you send out the quiz.???
I don't understand what is going off here, so I am signing off. Goodnight peeps, see you all soon.
Its not my quiz I was making a comment but how could the setter take half the money and then send it out by email. Paypal would work you would get the money up front that way. Setter who do that often charge £1 25 which is still cheaper than 2 stamps to get it
Sorry smouse. I thought it was your quiz and you hadn't been paid. My mistake.
I am another who has found it too hard and as not allowed to ask for help will not be sending it in.
I can't understand what the fuss is about regarding not paying for email entries if not submitted, It doesn't cost anything to send it out that way.
If it wasn't available by email it would have cost you £1 for the quiz and 2 stamps that's £2. You still wouldn't send it in because its too hard for you to do on your own but at least Magpas would have got the £1.
Mine is on it's way with quite a few wild guesses. As someone who has set quizzes I sympathise with quizmouse. It's disappointing when you've taken the time to reply to emails but don't get them returned..... and £100 for the unreturned quizzes is a lot for the charity to miss out on.

It certainly is a lot and many who has emailled copies were those who had historically sent via post, so we do lose quite a lot. It just starts to make me wonder if emailling is all worth it, might have to research the paypal type option or just giving, but as I am not particularly PC knowledgable I may struggle a bit?
Paypal is easy its what oddbods uses so you could ask her
I have sent mine off---there`s NO WAY I`d forget. Your quizzes keep me awake at night ha ha---I do love them :)
Just to add, there is no way I wouldn`t send my finished quiz to you as I`d be itching to know the answers :)
