Can you describe 57 for those of us without the pictures?

It's type of fly,seems to have two pairs of wings,top set being wider than the body is long. My picture isn't brilliant but it seems to have a sort of circular shape on thorax and light banding on body. Think it has short feelers. My brother thought it might be a hoverfly but they only have one pair of wings. I hadn't realised until now how many fly-type creatures there are!
