SORRY           that should read= what one question can he asked to be sure of selecting the correct door
This puzzle is also told with an island and two tirbes and needing to find the right path.

The question you ask "which door would the other warder tell me leads to freedom."
Whichever door they point to take the other door to find freedom

Explanation
The truthful guard (T) knows the other guard (L) lies and so he knows that L would tell you the wrong door. So the truthful guard (T) points to the door leading to the electric chair as thiswould be the answer from the guard who lies.

The lying guard (L) knows the other warder (T) always tells the truth but guard L has to lie and would tell you that the other guard would point to the door leading to the electric chair as this is a lie if he points to the correct door he would not be lying.

So whichever way your are directed take the opposite door.
