(-7) + (-9) - (-4) - 6 =

and what is:-
(-4) x 10 + (-9) x 3 =

The 2nd one will be controversial because the order of operations isn't clear. Using Bodmas I'd offer -67

Thank you for your answers so far. I thought the answer to the first question is -26 and the second answer being -147

As the other responders have said, the answer to the first one is -18

(-7) + (-9) = -16

(-16) - (-4) = -12

(-12) - 6 = -18.

Your answer to the second question is correct.

And as I expected, most people with some maths rules will agree the answer is -67 and not -147

My mistake - the answer to the second question is -67 using BODMAS.

(-4) x 10 = -40

(-9) x 3 = -27

(-40) - (-27) = -27
