I'm trying to think of a specific word that escapes me. It means you're looking after someone to keep them safe from spies or gangsters, that sort thing. I'll know it when I hear/see it. Thanks

Thank you all. I may've been think off 'impunity', but I don't think the sound of it is right in my head, plus it doesn't really mean what I was trying to say. But for some reason it's ringing more bells than the other words. Thanks again.
