The Scottish angle would make me inclined to favour BOBSLEDDING over DOG SLEDDING for 32 (Black Bob being a collie in The Dandy) except that the former is all one word, so I guess DOG SLEDDING it must be.

For 26, if the clue were '...it's a woman' then I'd say the answer was 'S NO MAN, but it's not so it isn't...
