The Km Links Game - April Week 4 And Final Results

Good morning everyone - typical Monday here and the schools resuming, guess what the weather is ...bit cool but going to be quite nice later on !! I'm not complaining though, we had some lovely steady rain over the weekend which is fantastic.

Now about this week's links ..... well we do miss once in a while, but TWO ?? oh dear -

The only player to have the second combo was LYSANDER and she scored the bonus points for that, the rest were a sprinkling of Ankle socks and that's as good as it got,

So there wasn't a great deal of action on the LB, as you'll see, there was a small cluster of STANDOUTS at the top there, while the rest of us ....well there's always next month which starts next weekend so till then stay safe, skz

Oh dear! In spite of my penchant for playing late & opting for combinations not previously chosen by anyone else, neither of the missing links even occurred to me. But you do realise, don't you, that this week's result will only encourage me in continued perverse behaviour!

I did wonder if some of the later players would come up with the odd matches, but not this time around. Trouble is, when we start thinking outside the square Kate goes all traditional with us so we can't win !!

Never mind though, keeps us off the streets !!

Thank you Skz ... I had a lovely time with my Australian relations, mainly in the Southern Highlands but the weather was pretty horrible the whole time I was there. I was there for a wedding on Sat 18th, & fortunately the rain let up for about 4 hours over the ceremony, milling about drinking afterwards, & until we were in the marquee for dinner. And then the heavens re-opened!

And for my last 3 days (Mon-Wed last week) in Sydney it was unbelievably ghastly. Roads closed & looking like rivers, steps looking like waterfalls, fallen trees blocking streets etc. But I'm rather afraid that this 'bad' weather was confined to NSW & the areas that really needed the rain didn't get it, so I'm glad to hear that you've had some. Where are you? SA?

Yes, I'm in South Oz, down south from Adelaide and very close to the beaches and wineries ...best place to be !!

As a founder member of the Freefall Club back in the year dot, I was reluctant to leave the bar where I'd been enjoying the odd tipple or two. But I suppose scoring just one point on the final day of the month is perhaps excusable? Cheers! hic!
