Hi puzzlers.
Just need too run 1 past you.
The answer must be/include a mode of transport.
e.g.: Is it a fast elephant (5,3) = Jumbo Jet, or: John Wayne film (10) = Stagecoach.
The answer I wish to check or obtain is:
SAUCE WITHOUT THE LIFT (5)

My own though is that it may be a misspelling because I have come up with: LIVEN. A misspelling of VAN.
You add sauce too liven up a dish.

Thank you mallyh. I think that you could be correct. Sometimes one can overthink the clue and miss the obvious.
