Well, there you go, Kev!  Re ''wolf' and 'gulf' - rhyming in northern dialect way - you said that you couldn't (quote) "imagine how you would work the two into a poem". I, on the other hand, found it quite straightforward, as illustrated. I'm not sure what you might imagine that says about our relative smartness!
If you find me boring, so be it...there are many on AB who do not. I have never formed any opinion of you at all.
