The Km Links Game - August Week 4 Results

Good morning everyone - this will have to be brief as I'm supposed to be out of here very soon and my computer is playing the fool ..... Of course !!

Well how did we fare with those links -

I know that last week I asked you all to consider getting all four correct etc etc ...well I didn't think I'd pay too much attention to that suggestion but subconsciously I must have been listening because ....

Err, I have scored ten points for all four correct .....I'm stunned !!

Lots of points shared amongst a lot of people means the LB is looking good and now there's only one more round to play, so I'll finish with the updates and I'll see you next week....

Can someone please explain the game to me... IE are we supposed to guess the most obvious words etc... or are they related to the clues given before. in which we have to figure out... my guesses has always being outside the box...before reading other posts, hoping someone wouldn't have thought of them... usually have though.

Hi Arky ...I'll try my best, the idea is to guess what the link words will be in the Monday Herculis crossword ....sometimes it's a tried and true, then occasionally we have to google to get the definition.

Ok today i got very lucky and managed all four correct...sheer fluke and happens fairly rarely and I'd call this batch a 'tried and true' bunch.

Does that make it any clearer ...it is really just a bit on fun and keeps the grey cells ticking over :))

No probs Arky, you're more than welcome anytime ... We take the first words from the Telegraph on Saturday and try to avoid words in the clues which is why I post them as well, but no hard and fast rules apply...as I said, just a bit of fun !!
