(Teresa's) daughter.
What are you to Teresa? You're her son-in-law
UR Teresa
So according to bhg's link to tinkerbell's thread, there are options for the answer, none of which are male?

Sorry, I maintain "son-in-law" is a valid response.
Lie-in-king - son-in-law is correct (I think) for the question as stated above. The other thread gives options for a female answer only. Either one of the posters has missed out part of the riddle or the other one has added limitations.
It's all over social media with the female options, but without those then - son in law/daughter are both valid, to me at least.
Why is this so difficult to get my head around?
Because only one is named.

If we say.....

Teresa

Susannah

Baby Susie

then the 'I' who is asking must be Susannah or Baby Susie's father.
I wish I'd not read this thread, I've never enjoyed riddles anyway!

Mamya - I'm not a follower of social media, so have obviously missed all the "excitement". If limited to the options shown, I agree that "daughter" has to be right :-)
Haven't followed it much but some answers have been funny and cries of 'Oh I can't sleep because of this' leads me to think some people have a lot of spare time.
It depends who the "her" is as well. It could be either.
Riddle: If Teresa's daughter is my daughter's mother, what am to Teresa?!

Is it
a) Grandmother
b) Mother
c) Daughter
d) Granddaughter
e) I am Teresa

Is the riddle on every site I have read.
Ah...that makes more sense. Thanks x
