Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Last night was Kilos puzzle. called weightlifter

All weights colour coded and some half hidden.

each weight had numbers on twice.20 kg and 20 kg on same weight. All these weights and those half hidden added up to 175 kg adding just one number on weight, or 350 doubling them. Does anyone know how the answer of 299 came to be. It was chaos at the end the compare seemed to collapse and the whole finish came with no one talking to us on screen. there were 3 x 20 kg. 3 x 5 kg. 2 x 10 kg 2 x 15 kg 2 x 25 kg, but remember on the weights these numbers were put twice for some reason on each weight. really puzzled!

Thanks to anyone who can come up with how the answer is worked out!

I was watching for a while, but couldn't be bothered to stay up to see what ridiculous answer they ended up with. I'd be amazed if anyone can justify 299.
