The answer to "one who's addicted to pot" (5) T?E?C would appear to be THEIC.

Theic appears in several crossword lists but not in my dictionaries. Can anyone give a meaning to theic?

According to Chambers
A person who drinks to much tea or who suffers from theism...an unhealthy condition resulting from too much tea drinking.
Shaney, my dictionary gives "theism" as :

n. - theism -- (the doctrine or belief in the existence of a God or gods)

??????????????????
Chambers gives your definition as well Don.
But it also gives theine an alkaloid found in tea ,identical with caffeine. ...and then goes on to define theic and theism as I posted above.I always rely on Chambers the Holy Bible of Dictionaries !!!
