The Km Links Game - April Week 1 Results

Good morning everyone - lovely sunny morning here, should be a good one to get out into the garden but we could really use some rain ...maybe later in the week or just in time for school holidays !!

Now for those links - I didn't realise just how many possibles there were ....

But they were all found, just not in overwhelming numbers, and the SMART COOKIE Award for two correct matches go to ELLIEMAY1, a newcomer to the ranks - JOLLYROGER66, MUZZ & TEARINGHAIR - nice start guys !!

A good sprinkling of single points had a fair number of you onto the Leader Board and quite a few more will have to pull up their socks next week (including yours truly ) in order to keep up !!

Lovely to see the return of an original member in BRYHER this week, plus a number of familiar faces from other areas of AB....Lie-in King will be known to just about anyone who's ever asked a question here, likewise SAM1960,
MAMYALYNNE has been popping in to see us now and again which is lovely and now we also welcome Jollyroger66 who has made a very good start on his first outing.

I would also like to bring to the attention of some 'older' members that our good friend deecee131 or Don Corleone as many will remember him, is back in hospital again, in a palliative ward .....we send him our very best wishes and will keep him and his family in our thoughts though a difficult time.

Guess that's about it for this week - Congratulations to all the points scorers and we'll all be back next Saturday for round two ...till then, stay safe skz

i am very sad to report that deecee131 passed away at the weekend
he was a lovely man and a great friend especially to jess
he will be sadly missed not only by his family but by us all

Thank you for the news, cliffyg. I didn't know deecee131 as some of you did, but in Q&P, as elsewhere on Answerbank, we all feel as if we know each other through our weekly contact, and to lose one of us leaves a real hole in our circle of friends. My condolences to his family.

Very sad to hear about deecee.As an older member I recall him setting the MM. game.
My thoughts and prayers are with those who loved and knew him.

Thank you cliffyg for the update ....not the one we wanted to hear but hopefully his passing was a peaceful one.

Please pass on our condolences to his family, deecee was a very well respected member of our AB family and he will be sadly missed.

I can only echo what has already been said. I recall deecee131 (or Don Corleone) suffering repeated suspensions for delivering too many helping hands on Answerbank! I true gentleman.
