Has any erudite spark got an idea what 19A & D might be - I thought DINTS was obvious but can't see how! - and assume 7 down must be MALTESE (as in falcon)

19A Among the various royal clubs[7]  ??S?E?S

19D Dimples revealed by mademoiselle when she smiles [5]     ??N?S

Cheers, fibonacci

I think you have a mistake in 19a
I make the answer drivers

various = divers
royal = R (for Rex)
then R in divers = DRIVERS which are (golf) clubs

19d is dents (not dints)

dents is French for teeth, and so her dents would be revealed when a mademoiselle smiled.
dents = dimples

Many thanks, gen2. Will have to re-think 7 down (Bird dog[7]) and hunt out the tippex again.....
Put WAGTAIL for 7D

What letters are you sure of in 7d?

dog can mean to follow or tail someone.
fantail and pintail are both birds (pigeon and duck), but I dont see where the fan or pin comes from.

I'd go with Minoru's answer
