If I notice it, Dave, I do ask for it to be corrected, as I did earlier today on another thread. I suppose it balances out when we take our turn to wear the cloak :)

Jo, yes I agree but some BAs are given for simply asking for a question to be clarified. As I said, how does a quiz answer justify BA when it may be one of several identical and correct answers. The Ed rules are that the BA is for the benefit of poser or reader so that they can go to the best answer, no doubt as in advice questions etc. Apart from that we will still attempt to answer, but to me a BA is meaningless.

divebuddy - I agree entirely. Seems silly to answer then parse on one question other than to be first. If there were rewards I could probably understand it, but to me, to accrue hundreds of BAs in quizzes seems pointless.

I sometimes do the parse separate, in no way to bump my stats because as you say they mean nowt really.

I have to have my screen large because of my partial sight, so prefer to see all the question box.

Sometimes I'll supply a parse as an after thought as the answer may have been obvious to me but not the person that posted the question.

It's just that the box seems full up , I know if I scroll down and look hard there is an arrow to stretch it out - as I say my disability has lead me into lazy ways.

Everybody on here that asks and answers does it for different reasons and have different syles. So what! It is all harmless fun. Best answers don't mean a thing to me, but I have my own little foibles. I haven't already done the crosswords but I like to try and beat the people that have. It is a "game" I play with myself. It is harmless and I shall carry on if I want to.
