1.Not for the birds 9

Teetotal artist 6-6 letters.
Question Author
You didn't give an answer just my question
She's sorted it for you, Tarbar. :-)
I think scorpiojo was just putting each question on a new line and making it easier to read them
Yes, it's easier to read when the questions are on separate lines :)
I'm not sure if the 9 is the letter count for no. 1 though or the clue number for the second
1. Fruitcake ?
Question Author
I can't find it sorry.
What can't you find?
When Tilly said scorpiojo had sorted it she meant set out your clues more clearly rather than solved them
That's what I said as well
Question Author
Thanks got now I thought crumb cake but it's two words in my recipe book.
1 is 9 letters then is it. Could be crumbcake although I can't decide if that would work better if clue was just 'for the birds'
Question Author
Yes you are right and fruitcake fits much better thanks .Any thoughts on the teetotal artist 6-6 letters .I 'll remember to use separate lines in future.
I'm not sure about fruitcake either. there is an expression 'with the birds' that means useless but I'm not sure it means the same as 'fruitcake' if that means 'a nutter', but the clue is not for the birds'. Or is fruitcake bad for birds?
Question Author
Too late now I have used fruitcake and I still think it feels right thanks.Wish I could get the last one though.
