Ill-natured person brought to corrective action. (8)

I've come up with sourpuss as an ill natured person... Is there any connection to this? Any other suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks, banff

Could you tell us what we are looking for please- I assumed from the quiz title it was either drinks related or tennis related but now I'm wondering if it's just double letters as in oveRRuns
or sourpuss. Can you clarify why you thought of sourpuss please as i can't see see how most of the clue would fit in
From the link posted above
62 hint
"to carpet" for corrective action (anagram).
I'm just trying to encourage banff to include details of what's required with his posts, Fibonacci. Looks to me as if answers have a double letter in them. I have the answer now though thanks- although I had previously thought the word just meant spider
