Just two go go on the Black and White quiz.
34. Sign of countrywide travel time restriction. (8, 5, 5)
50. At sea hands west I lands end grains chapel tournament in Wales in August. (10, 5, 4, 6, 11)
All answers relate to black or white but don't necessarily have them in the answer. Thanks in anticipation.

National speed limit
Question Author
Thanks Pixie. I'm not sure about that as there's no black or white in it. I thought perhaps Accident black spot but that doesn't seem to fit either.
it's a black and white sign
The national speed limit is depicted by a white circular sign with a black stripe diagonally across it from right to left. If you are on a dual carriageway and driving a car or motorcycle the national limit is 70 mph. If you are on a single carriageway and driving a car or motorcycle the national speed limit is 60mph.

Yes, that's exactly as it is written. I can't make any sense of it either. I thought it could be an anagram but can't see how. Maybe there's a mistake by the setter!
I've answered it above, valbo ^^

Whitesands (anagram of hands west I) beach (lands end) sand (grains) church (chapel) competition (tournament)
JO, I just find the wording stilted and strange with no flow to it at all. Your answer is as usual from you inspired, the words in the question seems to be placed with no grammatical sense. I am not explaining this very well but could you imagine face to face and asking this as a question
No, but here's another from (presumably) the sane setter.... :)
