I'm still struggling with a few and help would be appreciated if that's all right.
10. What do you feel is coming in the air tonight, Phil?
20. Kept under your hat when you are obsessed about something?
26.Winds over 100mph in the North Atlantic - have Googled and think there could be quite a few answers?
33. Not the Queen Mother.
56. Bowled over, then what?
for No. 48 I've got Red Arrows, although there's only one. Am I correct?
No number of letters given, and everything could be found 'up in the air'.
I know the setters don't want us to ask for answers, so if you could just guide me with clues, that would be lovely.
10 The only word I can think of that fits the clue if it's a reference to the Phil Collins song is IT, but I can't see the air connection- unless the answers themselves don't have to be air related if the clue is
Yes, OWL and DOVE are both in the clue but if one of those is the answer I am not sure why the setter bothered with the "then what" bit- unless HEN is also part of the answer
He sang "feel it coming in the air tonight" though mally - but i suppose at a very long stretch it could be what you say. Poor clue if it is though- and The Halley things are in space not in the air
In view of what the setter has said it would be good if when someone asked for clues they got clues and not answers and not clues that might as well be answers.
a bumbler under an American hood - really!
