Safari>clear history and website data

.then..

advanced>delete history

Delete your AB bookmark if you have one.

Switch off and bookmark and log in again

Thanks to scorpiojo and lie-in king for their advice. The iPad version seems to be behaving itself at the moment. Bit of a fag, though.
