you have spotted my mistake ! I have transposed the p and the r between the two answers so the letters of the second clue should be - a - - p -.  Oops.

No worries gco2005  -  makes the solution more challenging!  Try 'Caliph' for the other clue.

Hello again gco2005. Firstly, there are very few words fitting ?a??p?. Caliph seems the best option  -  loads of hits on Google, grouping caliph/royal/ancestry, referring to the successors of Mohammed as rulers of the Islamic world, later assumed by the Sultans of Turkey.  The 'account of ancestry' probably has some valid meaning.  Either that or I'm 100% wrong.  Has been known . . . Regardz, ja
