Just filling in my sheet and realised I have the same answer to 2 different questions. Help please with .
28 It's working (5) all the answers start with BAR.

Is the same answer to 2 clues allowed?

If so, perhaps the answer to 28 may also be Baron - as in {Bar (is) on}

Captain2's suggestion:- Leg is the 'on' side in cricket, and when you put 'bar' in front you get 'baron' which is a joint of meat - looked a good fit.

Just a thought . . . . it looks like the focus may have been on a joint of the leg itself (as in knee or ankle) but coloquially a "joint" is a place so maybe we need to look for "somewhere" associated with leg e.g. BARTS (Hospital) although I do not suggest that this is the actual answer but it may help to prompt a re-think??

Mally, I know I sometimes I get muddled and use one word when two are needed like adroitly adept or adeptly adroit . . . but here I don't quite see the connection between either Barney 6 letters? or Barny 5 letters? and the clue "it's working". Could you assist my comprehension, please?

So just put BAR in front to get BARON.
In others which have been solved the word BAR seems to have no connection with the clue
