I have an answer but given the comments so far, perhaps it may be appropriate to give offer a hint . . . aye aye = plural for the more usual affirmative and the car maker might initially then be brought around.

No , but other quizzers who regularly do the quiz and contribute to the cause have expressed clear reservations - still not everyone is bothered I understand that.

Lynne, I saw a post from the ED stating that this was a question and answer site and that no one should post regarding any limitations.

Agreed it is a Q&A site, nothing I say will alter that, I am more concerned with the spirit of the thing.

I have quizzes in my pile with dates from next week to February enxt year - shall I just post them the minute I'm stuck or get enjoyment from doing them?

Quizzers are very helpful to each other with hints, clues, mentions of amendments or voided questions, pointers to resources and adding to the monthly round up.

Often they are very generous with actual answers if the close date approaches too - but when the ink is still damp on the copy it is somewhat irksome.

Does that matter dannyk 13, 2days after quiz posted and people asking for answers already amazes me. Others are working out for themselves. Plenty of time too. Why bother!
