This Question was asked yesterday on film & tv. site.I have been on google and everything else I can think of.It is really doing my head in. OK Now the question. Which 19th century Russian Folktale was Tim Burtons film "The Corpse Bride" based on.Hope someone can come up with the answer.

In the original folktale, "The Finger," the "corpse bride" in question is not a deceased woman............
