All answers have something to do with Homes. As I'm going on holiday I would appreciate help with the following three clues. No.28 In London it could be known as a French plait (4). No.59 It opened its doors 27.12.1904 (7,5,7) the answer I've found doesn't fit the number of letters given. No.78 Mr Slade (3,6) The answer Gai Barone keeps appearing but doesn't fit the theme. Thanks to anyone who can help

I'm not sure how Gai Barone fits the homes theme though- unless the Slade in the clue is the home (Slade prison)

Thanks wiggers99 - another great answer! I was pronouncing plait as plate, and not as platt, which didn't give me any help in solving the clue. Thanks, too, to everyone else who contributed with ideas and comments.
