In one of the threads regarding the Rainbow quiz someone recommended a good online solver which I found really useful. Unfortunately I didn't bookmark it and now I've forgotten what it was. It acted a bit like a cluebank. Any recommendations please?

Could it be www.wordfun.ca/ where one function is to put in letters you have and dots for those you don't.
I use www.crosswordsolver.org

Thank you both. I really appreciate your help. These are good for crosswords. The site I've seen is where you enter a clue and the site searches it's database and comes up with suggestions hopefully! without needing a number count or odd letters. I've been through every one of the rainbow questions I found on Answerbank and not one mentioned it so I must have been confused. Still looking!

Thanks Dave. It's not the one I remember but I've not seen this one before either so I’ll give it a go!
This is helpful when you have some letters:

Never used it, but in the past I have seen posts that danword is not very reliable.
