Chews are a type of sweet. Cows "chew" the cud but I can't think of a 7 letter word - other than chewing and that is v iffy.

Wild guess for No 12 . . . .

There is, I think, a chocolate bar? brand called "Nutty." There is, I believe a hip hop/rap singer called T Nutty.

For 12 there's a rapper P Diddy but I can't link that to a similar sounding sweet/choc.
But it probably will be M&Ms as others have said if setter has made a mistake with the pattern thinking they are called M AndMs
