Finished = over
Border = hem
Toon = Scottish for town
Delighted = over the moon
finished = OVER
Border = HEM
Scottish (way of saying) town = TOON

I guessed that was it but I've googled extensively and there is no Scottish town called Toon, only Troon.
I thought it was just the accent

Oh I see. If I knew any Scots maybe I'd have heard it pronounced that way.
Seems crazy to me to put as part of an answer a word that does not exist.
that's just to catch you out....
Tickasmince, the word 'toon' does exist - it's in Chambers.
It also exists in the North-east. eg.Newcastle supporters are known as 'the toon army'
