Well, GG, if nothing else, we know which Author's book(s) the puzzler may have read on the way home from his trip to Scotland last week. Perhaps this influenced his choice of location for this week's offering? Given the number of footpaths and walkways in the area, I half expected one of the questions to relate to an aspect of one or more of these. I feel that we could have been set more of a challenge - the opportunity was there!

Hi F and T. Yes, as I've said before on here, the puzzles have become noticably shorter and easier since I started doing them in about 1999, when I'd sometimes be stumped - but I didn't have a computer then, reference books only!
