It's usually published a day before it's due date, but it isn't available yet - so I'm wondering if I have the timing right.

Naomi, if you would like to know, I received a copy in the post today without having requested it so it's obvious that the organisers don't mind posting it. They want to reach as many people as possible.

elliemay1, the only time the organisers have sent me a copy of a new quiz has been on the rare occasion that I haven't submitted the previous one - and you're quite right. That is because they want to encourage as many people as possible to take part.

Toorak, no pretention. Rest assured I speak from experience. I know how many hours are taken up with this sort of thing. You are just one, Mamyalynne is just one, Elliemay is just one, but ask yourself how many more are just one and how much time, energy, and money it would save the organisers of this fantastic quiz if everyone just thought a little and contented themselves with downloading it.

I've been doing it for so long now it is just automatic to send for by post. Long time before I had the internet. Send sae for next one when I send in quiz.
Still waiting for the post one so glad to get it off web this time - half way through.
Good quiz as usual. Must be difficult thinking of different themes.

I got two copies in the post yesterday that I didn’t ask for, and because I normally download it from the website, that’s 2 copies I don’t need and a wasted envelope and stamp by the organizers. It is an excellent cause but surely the cost of printing and posting these copies could be put to better use.

I appreciate your position Naomi (and was probably too harsh) but it seems to work better for others in other ways: horses for courses I guess. :-)
