Hi Wendyl and Biley this clue linked to another 19a = OHIO and as wendy has said city Dayton is a city in SW ohio whereas Canton is china if my memory serves me well ? I put Dayton, this can easily be checked by an atlas no doubt and will check it out lately on the map...

pega, canton is also a city in ohio - hence wendyl's question. I think both have to be considered correct if both fit and there is no other reason to choose one over the other?

Now I take up the query as both do fit and have been to the study and consulted maps and there are 13 canton in USA and one in ohio and 9 dayton in USA and one in ohio. so the You Mag composer is not very good to set such a clue and which will be the answer ? and with way the two main letter don't link D or C ist letter

Dayton is considered one of Ohio's BIG cities with a population over twice that of Canton. I'm going for Dayton......

I went for Dayton too. But as other would fit, how could they say one was wrong and the other was not.
