Much more of a challenge today - couldn't work out which direction he'd taken from the fortlet. Managed to track down the artist (never heard of him!), and from there it was straightforward, and I spotted the waterfall.
Don't know if I fancy Abu Dhabi, though....

Mr Fautley must have been thinking of you especially today - with a Viaduct . . . (truncated, naturally!), the SD & LUR Railway for you to trace on your map under the stairs at GG Towers, Roman Fortlet, Signal Station, National Park and Waterfalls. A veritable full house - n'est ce pas?
Maybe I am wrong but I do have a sense of déjà vu, since I could have sworn that the 1879 disaster itself has been mentioned or at least referred to in a previous puzzle. I do hope that we are not going the way of TV with repeat broadcasts?
I would be quite happy to go halves with you on the Abu Dhabi trip if your name features in the winner's circle next Sunday!
