Hi Retro- I thought you were away somewhere, hope you're having a good time and love to Pauline x Simon's had a rough time this year - Achilles heel op in October went belly up after he got an infection in the wound which culminated in sepsis which was very frightening. He's been of work since then, fortunately he's on the road to recovery now thank goodness but I've gained a few more grey hairs!
Danny. Never has my flabber been more ghasted.
The heathens who run what could be called an excellent hotel serve no Symonds brewery Hop leaf or Blue and worst of all no Cisk. Only beer/lager on draught is Skol or Carlsberg. Most of the other drinks are cocktails that even a southern jessie woldn ‘t be seen sipping through a straw!! I could go down Straight St , Valetta ( The Gut) but it’s not like you’r days at Tigne. :-(

Farsons and Symonds are still here. They do the Cisk and most Schweppes mixers under licence.
Unfortunately it seems DB Hotels do not have a contract with them. I do love the Hopleaf bitter but find the Blue a little anti-social especially as there are no shortage of sprouts in the hotel at Christmas. :-)
