In today's Daily Mail 15991 crossword: 22 across, Irish MP catches old fox (3) - we've got T.D - been all through OED and still can't find it, must have summat wrong?...anyone know the answer? Ta Very Muchly.

Yeah, Elllie and Kettle, we saw TOD, but the OED just gave on your own, or words to that effect - this DM compiler drives us mad sometimes, sets the rules then breaks them more than once in a single c/word puzzle - I'll have to write to the Mail in a big prize winning letter out of "outrage"!...won't change anything though, eh. Just checked my shorter OED (having blown off the dust!) and fox is the first definition given for tod.
