this is bugging me too , creep SOUNDS right , but it must be 4 letters or its no longer symmetrical .
if the answers CREE , then why ?
cree is an indian tribe , but im lost after that ,perhaps its so obvious i cant see it !!!!!!

The way ive got it set out it is symetrical 14a and 16a have 4 letters each
