does anybody know why this is a spelling question ?what was the stage surname of the music hall artiste sisters gert and daisy .

Gert and Daisy were created by Elsie and Doris Waters in 1930 but I don't know if they used any other names.


They were in a B/W TV show in 1959 with Hugh Paddick, but it wasn't a great success. They were better on the radio where they wrote their own material.

I agree with Quizmonkey, it is a similar case with one of the answers for 146, is it one t or two.
Waters and Walters don't sound the same!

Why does the Q say stage name, as as far as I can find they used their real name?

They were also the sisters of Jack ( stage name Warner), so I suppose Vic & Dave just want us to be 100% accurate in our answer. Waters Walters Warner
