I don't think Royal Jelly is correct but it's a very good answer.

I disagree, Jackdaw: "sounds like" and "monarch".

Jelly fits the "party food" admirably imo. Good for Beverley :)

I think "Sounds as if it is a party food" means that it isn't something that you can actually eat - so royal jelly fits with Monarch (royal) and party food (jelly)and you can't eat it - so I think if fits perfectly.
