Unfortunately not this evening Tony, most of my companions have gone to warmer climes to get away from this dismal weather, whereas Mrs. T and I have been tied up with GP and hospital visits / telephone calls.

One of my work mates is of to Sri Lanka on Monday until Jan 10th ( saves his annual hols up ) it should be nice and warm there.

My friends are either in The Canaries or the Spanish mainland, lucky blighters !

Mrs. T has various ongoing problems, whereas I had a wasted journey to a London teaching hospital for my annual check-up, to be informed that they hadn't analysed my most recent CT scan and also should have had a MRI scan; nor had they managed to find the results of the armful of blood that I gave at my local hospital last week. I had to give another blood sample while there, and was told that they would ring me with the results yesterday. The phone call eventually came today giving me the all clear for another year, thankfully.

Well at least that bit is good news, twix. The rest seems like the usual lack of communication between hospitals to me, bad isn't it.
