Who's made a start on this years quiz? I'm stuck with a few up to now. The woman in green in the window on the left and the man in the window above. Also is that a little white dog on the bottom right? There's also a the man on the motorycycle with a woman in the sidecar?

No sorry my mistake that’s Beecham House
No I think the man in the window with the baby is beecham house.
Anyone got the white Xmas tree or is it a red herring? Also the sandcastle?
Most people are saying the sandcastle is Sanditon
What if the sandcastle is Scarborough?
Question Author
The ice lollies are Britain's Favourite Food. I'm not sure about the sandcastle and Sanditon. Sanditon seems to early in the century for building sandcastles but I could be wrong. Have no idea about the white Christmas tree and also the black car.
I think the black car is Endeavour
Is the man with the striped tie Steve Coogan?
I’m also stuck with the corgi dog (Queens Speech or The Crown?), the blue and white snake, the white Christmas tree, the woman in the sidecar and the life belt. Help would be much appreciated.
Question Author
Yes that's Steve Coogan. The woman in the sidecar is Antiques Roadshow and I think the lifebelt is Saving Lives at Sea. I also think the corgi is The Crown but I'm still puzzled about the sandcastle. Scarborough has been mentioned but not sure.
I prefer Saving lives at sea to Deep water and scarborough to Sanditon or Castle rock I also think the Xmas tree on the globe has to be a clue but don’t know the answer also don’t have a clue about the gold mass in the window in front of ardal Hadn’t got any blue and white snakes
Do you mean the gold heart in front of Ardal? If so, Love Island
No the gold mass above the gold heart, I think it might be gold digger, just a wild guess.
Marilynne, Britain's Favourite Food is a possibility but you sound really confident. Zoom was one of many foods featured (according to the radio times website) but I liked Summer of Rockets because it was about the cold war and summer, so I thought it was a clever clue from the illustrator. Gold Rush is possible but I've a feeling someone will come up with something more specific.

Nice one. If you're reading this, why not break the habit of a lifetime
There seems to be no soap clue like previous years; IE: Coronation St, Eastenders etc or am I missing something?
Good point. Also gold digger?? for the gold mass. Clutching at bracelets I fear
Thanks for that link to moneysavingexpert - I thought it had been deleted as I couldn't find it for a second time.

The white tree and drain cover behind the sandcastle were in the Alamy stock photo on which the competiton is based, so unlikely to be clues.

I see a big green globe poking out behind the roof below the 2034 at the top of the picture - does it ring a bell with anybody?
EastEnders is there :). Look at the shape of the lights top left.
Top left shape of the lights matches the Thames in a famous TV logo. Is that a tennis ball in the middle, top half of the picture?
