Oops! I think that it's my physics that's gone wrong (and I used to teach it!).

I scanned the question and read it as 27...something degrees C, which looked like absolute zero to me but, upon re-reading the question, I see that the number is totally different. (I've just started medication to lower my blood pressure and I seem to read some things rather oddly at times - That's my excuse and I'm damned well sticking to it!)
