Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Just seen Bileys answer lower down, makes you wonder what some of the compilers are on

Is there a reason why this should have a film connection? 'Blacken' would partly fit the bill...ie it means 'to soil'...and 'lack' means a 'shortage'. That would mean 'Ben' would have to be the word going around 'lack'. 'Ben' does not mean 'cross', however, other than in the film actor's name, 'Ben Cross'.
I'm probably barking wildly up the wrong tree! If so...sorry!

Aw for goodness' sake! Obviously I did not see Biley's answer to a question further down the page. In fact, none of the answers above mine were there when I started to type my reply. Great minds think alike, perhaps?

Thank you everyone. Actually I am doing the search for my 77-year-old wife (I'm 81) who hates computers but loves The Answer Bank. I still have my uses even after being married for nearly 56 years!
