Hello - I have such difficulty using The Answer Bank these days, which is perhaps one reason I do not use it as much as I once did, but I am having even greater difficulty in leaving it! I can De-Activate my account but cannot remove my Profile and User Name. I do understand that my questions and answers may be useful to others but surely I can still completely close my account? When I am in a position to upgrade my computer and software then I may consider joining your site again, and with a different User Name. Thanks.

Our questions and answers are there for others to see and that usually continues after we leave unless we are banned. You could ask the Ed but I doubt she would delete everything.
I'm also wondering what problems you're having, that could be so bad that would make you want to leave AB ??

Can't you just log out of AB and delete all the relevant data from your devices??

Just thought I would explain that any time I access The Answer Bank it is so slow it would probably be quicker for me to walk to your office! Then it crashes or just freezes. I seldom post anything these days and the answer given suggesting I write something that gets me banned seems rather daft - sorry but it is! I would prefer to be able to use the site without any problems. I am pretty sure it is my old software - and/or my gremlins in the form of hacker(s).

well it's not like that generally so it must be something local to you.
Have you cleared your browser's cache recently, Wordyone? It often resolves problems with websites that are slow to load.
I hope you get sorted and are able to return to us Wordy.
You will get me shot Wordyone, but this site can help you close an on line account on various sites that have an information retention policy. The will need to be quick and copy the site as it will probably be removed pronto.
