I put this question at the end of a previous post for this quiz but I don't think it showed up.
I've read all the comments about asking, but can anyone give me clues for my last ones please

I'm really struggling here :o(

//I've read all the comments about asking,//

Yet you still ask even though you know the quiz setter doesn't want you to?

Thank you Mamya and ScorpioJo for your help without any inane comments.
Very much appreciated :o)

Good luck :-)
Hardly inane, You didn’t comply with the quiz setter’s rules. Simple.
I don't think Angie's comments are inane, sometimes a bit terse and she is dogged in following setter's guidelines - I am too (if given full details) in the main, but I don't begrudge a clue or two in the closing stages of a quiz.

Mamya, thank you for your comment.
There are very few quizzes that I actually ask help for and that's always as a last resort after usually struggling for days. I don't ask if the guidelines say not to but as you say, not full details have been clarified in this quiz and there were plenty of other questions asked.
One thing that I don't understand regards to quizzes is why people ask so many questions when the quiz has only been out for a couple of days and the closing date is 2 or 3 months away. To my mind, that takes away the fun of the word 'quiz'? :o)

I agree, some see it as a race, I am naughty - as soon as I get a quiz I have to peep and fill in a few. Them they go into a file in date order - they don't always stay that way mind.

I even have 2 in that file for next year!

Love quizzing, keeps some grey cells going.

Snap Mamya! Maybe you have said similar before and I have copied your idea because that is exactly what I do. I do any easy ones that I see straight away in pencil and then TRY and do them all in date order. As you say, it doesn't always work!!
Interestingly, I only have one for next year. It's the Cystic Fibrosis Family Quiz for 31 January. I do quite a lot of quizzes so I wonder what one I am missing out on? :o(
Lynne I am surprised you would help with a no asking quiz no matter how near the closing date was
If there had been a long list asked then I wouldn't have but a general clue for one I didn't mind and just occasionally it may stave off answers being given as a flat refusal is often seen as a challenge.

You'd be surprised how many queries I ignore and don't reply on at all.
Leecon, sorry - told you my filing was sloppy.

Only one in next years file now :-)

Mamya thank you, and thank you for the replies to all the questions that you have been asked. I'm sorry that I have caused a storm in a teacup!! :o)
Don't worry, I have broad shoulders.
