999 introduced in 1937.
I'm confused because, as Bookbinder says, 999 was introduced in the UK in 1937, which was three years before Frank Sinatra recorded his first single. 112 was introduced in the USA in 1968 but Frank Sinatra didn't have any significant hits that year:

Probably, and I say only probably 1967

911 was introduced in 1968 in the USA, but it was agreed in November 1967.

In 1967 Frank (and Nancy) Sinatra had a No. 1 hit with "Something Stupid"
^^^ Sounds good to me , JJ109!
PS: I've absolutely no idea why I typed '112' above, which I've only just noticed. I obviously meant '911'! (112 is the Europe-wide equivalent of 999 but it's clearly not relevant here)

Thank you all for help yesterday .tge the two answers were the lady is a tramp. And 999.
Thanks for update but cant be 999 as that was 1937. Clue seems odd anyway- you dont usually say a hit was introduced in a certain year
Lady is a Tramp by Sinatra was 1957
A suppose the song Lady is A Tramp first appeared in 1937 in a musical (not by Sinatra) so the song was 'introduced' in 1937.
The clues wording is very clumsy though
