My mom will be a 100 years old at the end of this year, needless to say her eyesight is very poor, but still attempts to write letters to people that live a good way away, and never really gets to see because of their ages
She still does pretty well with the help of a magnifying glass to assist. What I'm looking for is some pens that will give her a thicker/ bolder print, may be edging on felt tips but not over the top. I very rarely buy pens now and if I do just bog standard Bic biros.
Looking in the shops yesterday there seems to be a mind boggling array of choices in pens but without trying them out I'm at a loss of what to go for. Any Idea? and if you've used them all the better.
often pens these days will have the width of the line on the cap - 0.4 for instance (0.4 of a millimetre). Look for the highest number. I'm thinking of the sort of pens you can get in Muji, but WH Smiths probably provide something similar and offer a wide range.
jno. That's something I didn't know ( the width on the cap. thanks!
namoi Yes I did see lots of gel pens, and not expensive, so may be a good idea to give them a try . Thanks.
