1 Rivington Pike - just up the road from me.
1 Rivington Pike
Bandit Peak?
Question Author
Thank you both for Rivington Peak - still unsure about Bandit Peak but thanks for suggestion.
I wanted it to end 'Fell' or 'Drop' but not found anything.
So did I Mamyalynne, and I haven't found anything. Grange Fell exists but doesn't match the clue.
Mamy; do you know Ashurst Beacon?
Mamy; you're from Lancashire?
I am, yes.
That's Appleby Bridge way isn't it?
Nice one Sam.
^
maybe not !!
The more I looked at it Mamya, the more I started talking myself out of it lol x
Me, Wigan. We had Ashurst Beacon, Billinge Lump (they were within walking/bussing distance) and of course, Rivington Pike. We would explore the countryside near us to find nests and collect eggs; bus ride to Orrell, and Wigan town - walk to the baths or Central Park (to cheer Billy Boston) and then choose to take the bus home or save the fare for a pennyworth of kali and a ha'penny spanish.
I think it works.
Mamylynne; Appley Bridge! (maybe I've spelt it wrong, but there's only two syllables.)
Happy days, off trekking with a bottle of corporation pop.

Sorry for the hijack Hazlinny :-)
I spelt it wrong, oops.
But, Mamy, you're not from Wigan. We could discern foreigners from Ashton, Bolton, Leigh etc, because of their weird accents. Did you ever enjoy black peas in the black pea tent at Wigan fair?
