Can anyone help? I am doing a cryptic quiz where the answers are all UK rivers. I have answered most of them but have no idea if they are rivers or not.I have scoured maps with a magnifying glass until my eyes hurt. As there are 100 to find, can anyone suggest where I can find a list of the minor UK rivers? And yes I have tried Google!

Try Yahoo <rivers of great britain > the wikipedia site comes up whose list is fairly comprensive!

The Quiz is run on behalf of our village museum.


If I give out their address then they might get inundated with requests and they won't be able to cope. Is there somwhere I can post their address so not everyone can see it?
