Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I've looked at all the previous Q&As for this quiz but still not happy with about half a dozen of them. They don't fit the compiler's tight remit. Any better idea for number 44?

Oh bless you mallyh. That's far better than any of the others I've tried to fit to it. I've never got them all right in this quiz but at least I'm more comfortable with this one now. Thanks again.

Sounds better - I've even been reading his past explanations - I think some suggested answers are over-thinking.

Yes Tuvok. You're right. I like a quiz and a bit of brain exercise from time to time but I stopped buying these quizzes because some of the thinking is convoluted. I still support this Hospice but in a less frustrating way.

Oh yes of course. In fact, I thought to myself this morning, I'm not wasting any more time when the weather's nice (for once!) and I could be in the garden doing something constructed like growing plants for the Hospice annual plant sale so I completed the quiz with the best I had and then whizzed up to the postbox to stop me from messing with it any further! It doesn't end 'til the end of August and then I'll have to wait for him to send it back to me. Do you want me to just post the answers on here?
