Mammals Quiz Question

Been working on a quiz over Christmas - all answers must contain a mammal. Gotten down to the last question and we're absolutely flummoxed.

The clue is:

A friend of mine is attempting this quiz (about 60 answers so far) and has come to a halt. She intends returning to it later but question 100 has us both intrigued. 'The answer is bananas!' (4, 4, 2, 8, 3) Any suggestions would be more than welcome.
